Sunday Scriptures

Today I teach CTR 8 in Primary. I have 11 little ones who are filled with fun, wiggles, and a profound understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This morning we walked next door to the Hawaii Temple Visitor's Center and had our lesson in front of an enormous statue of Christ--the Christus. And we talked of Christ. They know who He is and what He did in His life. They are learning how to listen to the Spirit of the Lord and feel of His love. My scripture today was the story of the Jaredites, specifically the brother of Jared and his faith. My class knew the story and literally told it to me. I understand better why the Savior would go directly to Primary if He were to visit our wards. The leadership and other adults can wait, it is His little ones who are more prepared to spend time with Him. I love my Primary class. I wish I could have the same experience every Sunday with my grandchildren.
