Yesterday, Friday, April 10 was the official end to Winter Semester at BYU-Hawaii. Lee turned in his final papers and took his semester finals. Now he is free for one week to sleep, play, and otherwise fritter away his days. I, on the other hand, will start my new job at the Career Services/Alumni department and continue to try to get my art portfolio reviewed so that I can finalize my Spring Term classes. I start my new job on Tuesday and will be fairly familiar with it before classes start on the 20th. Life is about to get wonderfully busy.
Although our name is on the waiting list for TVA (Temple View Apartments, on campus, married housing) we have not heard anything yet, so I am thinking that we will continue to live in our 300 sq. ft. of the world for awhile longer. It is okay though because we love our ward.
Last night we found out that we can entertain in our little home. We invited the Sister Missionaries to dinner. What an adventure, trying to prepare a meal for four and still have somewhere for all of us to eat. But we did it! All at one table in the middle of our room. It was great, but Lee later pointed out that if we wanted to have anyone that would stay longer than an hour we would need to plan on an outside activity. It was very snug and cozy to say the least.

Hi Heather and Lee,
Sounds like you guys need a murphy bed and a card table, or one of those double drop down tables! But, I bet you guys are going to have some of the best memories of this little apartment! It's like you're newly weds all over again! How fun! (Hey, I just realized...I think you guys are living life backwards!) Sean said you got into the art program, Heather. That's great!
Carly loved the presents you sent her. The scriptures are so dear to her. She is keeping very good care of them and she lets us use them for family scripture study every night. She has walked around with the children's song book, picking out titles she knows and practicing some she doesn't! It's so fun!
Thank you for thinking of her and sending those thoughtful gifts.
We hope you guys are having a wonderful time. We love and miss you. Lisa
